Perfect children's book!
Who Me? What should I Be? is such a sweet, benevolent book! I read it to my 4th grade students, and they were all delighted by it, begging me to read the next one in the series. Even though the book is written for a younger crowd, readers of any age (even mine!) will be charmed by the sweet rhymes, adorable illustrations, and timeless message within: that we can be anything we want to be in life, and it is up to us to pick from so many wonderful choices. What a perfect book!

This review is from: Look At Me... A Musician I Want To Be!
This book describes to a child what it might be like to have a career as a musician or singer. The characters are very imaginative and colorful. I like that fact that the pictures include animals, kids, and adults as part of the story. For example, one of the singers is a blue and gold macaw. Most of the characters are shared with her previous books, so there is a familiar look and feel across the series.
I think this book and the rest of the books as they appear in this series is an excellent way to get your kids thinking early about who they want to be when they grow up.

Truly a great story with a moral! Most of the pages have about 2 lines which are great for reading to the young kids. The 2 lines do not only deliver a lot of meaning but they rhyme in many ways. A great book for parents to read to their young children. The characters are sooo cute. The author is truly gifted and has a big insight into children's psychology. Karean, please keep writing!

A fun book about two friends, who have an adventure just trying new things together. It encourages people to continue being a friend even if the other is not always responding back in a welcoming way. Together as a team they are able to make more dreams come true. What a wonderful lesson to teach your kids in life: just how valuable a true friend is. Thanks Karean.

As a child, I was introduced to adventure books by my mom and then read hundreds of them over the years. It's never too early to jump-start kids' imagination and sense of adventure and exploration - this little book does that superbly. Read it to your kids time and time again and they will one-day thank you for it.

A great story setting an example of how true friendships help each person to be a better version of her- or himself. Moose learns to be patient and help his friend to find courage, Zeus learns it is ok to step outside her comfort zone and have fun. Filled with love, this book is entertaining and adventurous. The illustrations are colorful and fun. My daughter particularly enjoyed the silliness of their day as well as the way the characters treat each other. Like her, all children will laugh and giggle as they follow Northern and Zeus through their exciting day of togetherness!

This book is a story about a Dragon and a Moose, although it is really a story about any two people trying to have a fun adventure together. The story takes the two adventurers on a canoe trip down a river and ends with a campfire. What could be better than that! The story is engaging and well written. The illustrations are fantastic. Kids love this book. I enjoyed it and highly recommend it!

This is a wonderful true story of friendship and adventures of a young man and his girlfriend (portrayed by a moose named Northern and a dragon named Zeus respectively) on a canoe trip.
The exciting and action packed story-in-rhyme and the accompanying colorful illustrations are a beautiful work of art. This book appeals to the curious minds of children, parents and grandparents. We read this book over and over and find it interesting and great fun every time. Highly recommended!

I'd recommend the book for kids 3 years and older. It emphasizes the importance of education and caring for others in a whimsical fun way. It stimulates the child's imagination of different career choices they can have. Great for opening a conversation with your child. The colorful illustrations are definitely eye catching. Serena F. This is a great book for teaching your child that he/she can be anything their hearts desire. The author makes it fun and easy to read and any child can see themselves in the book. My daughter giggled at the illustrations as they are "eye candy" and whimsical. I highly recommend this book to add to your collection. Looking forward to more books from Karean Chapman!

What a cute and sweet discussion of the possibilities and dreams that are spread out before little children! I found the light-hearted text to be positive and motivating; the illustrations of the animals to be inclusive, loveable, warm and creative. This book will not only invite your child to understand the importance of being happy in what you do and helping others - it will surely inspire him or her to think and dream big!!! After reading the book my daughter much to talk about in terms of the many jobs she plans to have...astronaut, author, illustrator, vet, mommy, and teacher...the list goes on and on. Kids SHOULD think and dream big - this book helps! Thank you Karean for opening up such a fun conversation for our family!

After reading this book I realized that there is a lot more to it than just the beautiful rhymes, witty characters and amazing illustrations. In this book the author stimulates the young minds to think about the importance of education and becoming a valuable contributor to society. A must read for both children and adults. Fabulous Children's Book!

This is a great book for kids and it contains some subtle laughs for the parent that might be reading it with their kids. The book poses the question to the child as to what he or she should be when they grow up. Through the use of clever rhymes and beautifully illustrated pictures, the character in the book explores many different roles in her imagination. All the roles are played out with animals. The adult will get a kick out of the choice for each role. For example, a skunk is the florist and a snake is a lawyer. It is helpful to have children to begin when they are young to dream about what they might want to be when they grow up so they can develop ambitions and goals. Your kids will love it and so will you. I enjoyed it. Awesome Children's Book!
